We have 3 power cages, and over 1000 kg of weight plates. With 12 moveable benches and an incline press,so there's never a queue!

Welcome to the Spit & Sawdust web site,. We offer our gymusers a wide range of equipment, from free weights to cardio.

Spit & Sawdust Gym is located at 319 Sutton Road, Southend on Sea., SS2 5PF.

Back to basics, we offer everything you need to get into shape without the full fat cappucino, steam room and feng shui decor to distract you from the reason you're here!!!

Spit & Sawdust prides itself on getting results, where gymusers of all abilities workout side by side in a friendly , helpful atmosphere.

We cater for men and women at every level of fitness, shape and health.

We can take you from that all too often "nervous" first time gym experience into becoming a regular ,confident long- term gym user. If you're out of shape, lack fitness and condition or are just in need of a fun and an enjoyable new challenge, then we are the gym for you. We provide well-informed nutritional advice and step-by-step workout programmes, tailored to the individual.

Visitors are welcome to come in and take in the unique Spit & Sawdust atmosphere.

With pre-set bars from 10 kg to 50 kg and 2 multi-station gym machines, we cater for all.

With dumbbells varying from 2kg to 45 kg and 5 oly bars, you have all you need for strength, toning and development

The cross trainers, Concept 2 rower, boxing and matted area will help you achieve that sweat you desire.
